Chapter 56 Pay the Price 

“If you cross me, you will have to pay the price!” Elijah looked at her with a wicked smile. “Start the car. I will go home with you.” 

Cordelia immediately started the car and stepped on the accelerator. The car rushed forward like an arrow. 

There were not many cars at night. Cordelia’s car swept across the city streets like a gust of wind. 

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Elijah holding the door armrest tightly, so she drove the car at a higher speed. 

Especially in the end, she drifted the car and parked it firmly in the parking space, and they fell in silence. 

She got out of the car without saying a word. 

Soon, Elijah followed quickly and grabbed her wrist. “Have you ever played racing?” 

Cordelia raised her eyebrows. “Is there anything I haven’t played except for men?” 

Elijah’s eyes darkened, and his face became gloomy. “You are very frank.” 

“Thank you for the compliment.” Cordelia wanted to break free from his hand but failed. She shouted angrily, “Let go of me.” 

“No!” Elijah clasped her fingers and pulled her back. 

Cordelia frowned, feeling depressed. 

Before she went to Eva’s place, she had imagined many possibilities, but she didn’t expect Elijah to go home with her. 

Elijah liked women who were active in bed, and Eva’s current situation might not satisfy him. 

When she was pressed against the wall of the entrance by Elijah, she was still distracted. 

Her hands were clasped by him above her head, and he kissed her frantically. 

“E… Elijah…” 

“Since you have offended me, you have to put out the fire.” 

After speaking, Elijah trapped her in the entrance and bullied her. 

Cordelia couldn’t escape and could only swear at him. She complained about him and begged for mercy in a sobbing tone, and she became soft in his arms.

“Grandpa went to a nursing home recently,” Elijah said coldly.

Elijah kissed her ear again. “Grandpa only wants a 

great-grandson. Do you think he will meddle in your business? Save your breath.” 

Cordelia bit her lip. Feeling that he wanted to have sex with her, she said hastily, “I’m on a safe day today. You should also save your breath.” 

“It’s okay. I’ll work harder. What if you get pregnant?” 

Elijah was aroused. It was impossible for him to let her go.
