Chapter 99 The Operation
In the hospital, two women wearing sunglasses were sitting together in the waiting chair with the same expressionless faces.
The consultation room before them was impressively written: No. 2 Gynecology Room.
“Imogen Lopez, please enter the No. 2 Gynecology Room,” one nurse said.

Imogen took off her sunglasses, put them in her bag, and handed it to Cordelia, who was beside her. “My girl, I am going in. Wish me luck!”
“Relax, it’s just a minor operation,” Cordelia comforted her.
Although it was a small operation, it was still an operation.
So, Imogen walked in with heavy steps.
Cordelia was holding Imogen’s bag, and when she was bored, her cell phone rang.
“Cordelia, I heard that you went to the gynecology department. Do you feel uncomfortable? Or is your period delayed again? Do you need me to accompany you?”
Cordelia couldn’t open her mouth since Edith kept speaking and asked many questions.

She smiled bitterly. “I’m fine, Mom. I’m here to accompany my friend.”
“Really?” Edith didn’t believe it. “Cordelia, if you have
something, you must tell me. Don’t hide it from me. Do you hear
me?”
Edith’s tone was so severe that even through the phone, Cordelia’s heart trembled.
Sure enough, she was still too young to hide anything in her heart.
Imogen had been in for a while, and Cordelia worried about her.
She looked up suddenly and saw two men in neat suits walking towards her.
It was Elijah and Ben who came.
Cordelia was startled and got up quickly.
“Where’s Imogen?” Ben stepped forward, looking at her coldly.
Cordelia pointed to the consultation room beside her. “She is doing surgery there.”
“What surgery?”
Ben spoke aggressively and fiercely as if he were a beast that wanted to eat people.
Cordelia was irritated, and she rolled her eyes at him. “This is Imogen’s privacy. Why should I tell you? Who do you think you are?”
“Cordelia Hansen!” Ben gritted his teeth.
At this time, Elijah stepped forward and blocked Cordelia behind him. “It is enough. No matter what surgery Imogen is doing, I’m afraid it will be done by now. It is no use being rude to my wife.”
Ben glared at Cordelia, turned around, and was about to rush into the consulting room.
At this time, the nurse said again.
“Cordelia Hansen, please enter the No. 2 Gynecology Room.”
