Excitement shone in Cassandra’s eyes. “What are the results?” 

“They have no blood relation whatsoever,” the assistant replied.

Cassandra was aware that the truth about Cassina not being Queenie’s biological daughter would eventually come to light. This necklace was given to me by our mother when I was a child, and I know she truly wished for you to have it. So now, it’s yours,” 

Cassina raised her hand, bashfully declining it, “No need, you keep it.”
