frowned.
In the end, Beatrice vomited until there was only gastric juice left in her mouth, and then she leaned against the car with her weakened body.
Keith hurriedly walked forward and reached out, saying, “Mr. Caden, let me help Ms. Lindsey.”
Caden took off his coat instantly.“You don’t need to.”
Caden glanced at Beatrice with disdain but still decided to carry her into the house.
Beatrice was carried directly into the bathroom by Caden. Just as she sat on the countertop, Caden reached out to wipe off her vomit–stained clothes.
“No! No!”
Beatrice struggled and tried to push Caden away. However, being weakened, she could not resist Caden.
Caden took off Beatrice’s clothes with a straight face.
The traces that had been made the night before were exposed under the light.
Beatrice felt ashamed and embarrassed, raising her hand to cover her face. However, Caden grabbed her wrist.
Caden’s palm was terribly hot.
Beatrice looked up and met Caden’s deepening gaze.
Caden didn’t give Beatrice a chance to resist at all. He pushed her knees aside and pressed his body against hers.
Beatrice trembled instinctively as her body rejected Caden.
Caden frowned and picked up the towel stacked on the washstand to wipe his hands, casually saying, “I am not interested in women who have just vomited.”
After those words, Beatrice just wanted to breathe a sigh of relief. However, her body seemed to lose strength, and she fell straight into Caden’s hug.
Caden lowered his gaze, staring at Beatrice’s pale face. With cold sweat on her forehead, Beatrice looked extremely weak.
“Still feeling uncomfortable in your stomach?”
Beatrice, without any strength to speak.
Caden sighed, “What a loser.”
Feeling dizzy and nauseous, Beatrice couldn’t speak, and her body was also sinking.
Beatrice did not expect Caden to treat her well.
Undeniably, she was so tired and felt so uncomfortable.
Suddenly, Beatrice felt a warmth on her cheeks as a warm towel wiped across her face and then her body.
Feeling warm and
comfortable,
moment later, Caden paused.
Beatrice couldn’t help rubbing the
towel.

He said with a threatening voice, “I’ll let you go for today.”
Immediately, Beatrice felt her body float as she was carried by Caden onto the bed.
When Beatrice came to her senses, Caden had an extra bowl of soup in his hands, which had been cooked by a servant.
With his slender fingers stirring the soup with a spoon, Caden lowered his handsome face slightly. At the same time, he wore an expression of obscurity and mystery. For all the warmth of ‘Caden’s gesture, it was filled with a strong sense of aggression.
Beatrice was well aware that Caden was not concerned about her and he just didn’t want her to die yet.
When Beatrice came out of her thoughts, a spoonful of soup was handed to her lips.
Beatrice pursed her lips before opening her mouth. However, she didn’t get to have the spoonful
soup because Caden’s cellphone rang.
It was Madelynn’s call.
As Caden answered the phone, the sound of Madelynn crying came from the other end.
“Help me, Mr. Caden! It has been claimed online that I was the one who drugged you last night. They say I am shameless and love to have a frolic. What should I do now? I feel like I’m being followed, and I’m so scared.”
After listening to Madelynn’s words, Caden turned his head to look at Beatrice coldly.
Caden’s brows furrowed slightly, revealing a hint of coldness, and an aura of intimidation pervaded him from head to toe.
Yes.
Caden believed Beatrice was behind the scenes.
“Wait for me.”
Caden showed his tenderness only to Madelynn.
But after hanging up the phone, when faced with Beatrice, Caden turned as aloof as he usually would be.
Even the turning of the wrench was accompanied by a mockery towards Beatrice
The next second, as the scalding hot bowl of soup was forcefully placed in Beatrice’s palm the unbearable pain crept over her fingers.
With his eyes filled with coldness,
“You’d better pray that she is OK.”
Beatrice watched as Caden’s figure disappeared.
Caden pressed Beatrice’s hand back
Just like in the past, Caden could always rush to Madelynn at the first possible moment, no matter when or where.
The door slowly closed. Beatrice was still holding the soup in her hands, as if only that kind of pain could be a reminder to her.
It was a warning that Beatrice should be away from Caden.
Beatrice, no longer indulging in self–pity, gulped down the soup,

And then she took a shower and lay down to sleep.
Meri
Even though the surroundings were quiet and she was tired, Beatrice found it difficult to fall asleep.
The time was passing slowly. Caden didn’t return to the house even though it was dawn.
Beatrice believed that Caden must have spent the night with Madelynn.
She thought, “In my previous life, Caden also stayed with Madelynn on the same day, and then they had a child named Caleb.”
Beatrice clenched the blanket, thinking that Caden and Madelynn must have a happy life without her in their lifetime.
However, Beatrice could never see her kid Stella.
Beatrice touched her abdomen and gradually fell asleep.
In her dream, Stella was lying on Beatrice’s knees, asking Beatrice to sing a lullaby.
How sweet that dream was!
Beatrice woke up late in the morning.
Realizing that the house was empty, Beatrice finally believed Caden had not returned as expected.
Beatrice sat on the sofa blankly, not feeling sad, for her heart had been numb since her past life.
After all, Beatrice would predict that Caden would spend a fortune on Madelynn at the auction.
In addition, there would be a pompous birthday party for Madelynn’s child in Chicago.
And even for the sake of Madelynn’s career, all Beatrice’s designs would be taken away.
The ringing startled Beatrice while she was lost in thought.
Looking at the note, Beatrice quickly answered the phone.
“Hello, Ms. Hanson.”
“Hello, Beatrice. Although you are about to graduate, I still advise you not to give up such a great opportunity. After all, with your talent, there is still a high possibility for you to win the jewelry, design competition,” Alexa earnestly advised.
In her previous life, Beatrice had lost the opportunity to compete because of her affair with Caden.
And the one who had replaced Beatrice in the competition had turned out to be not someone else, but Madelynn.
Beatrice’s works had finally been brought to Madelynn.
Caden had been behind the scenes and believed that Beatrice had owed to Madelynn.
Beatrice thought,“In this life, I will strive for myself.”
She immediately said, “Ms. Hanson! I’m in!”
Alexa breathed a sigh of relief.“Luckily, I had a second thought and didn’t submit Madelynn’s registration form. In fact, we all hope that you can represent the school in the competition.”
Don’t worry. I will do my best.”

The readers' comments on the novel: When Love Turns to Ashes (Beatrice and Caden)
I hope the admin team can look into this. It’s a long winded story with the same old plot on repeat. So now that Beatrice has found out she’s pregnant, no doubt she’ll once be at risk of people wanting to ensure she miscarriages since it’s Cadens. Doesn’t help shes also engaged to Odin....
The last 70 chapters are repeated. It goes back to the storyline of Madeline and Selina. Why’s is that?...
