Chapter 41 Sweet Words 

Christopher squinted, looked at me, smiled, and said, Try doing it that way and see what happens.7”

spare me!” 

His expression turned icy, glaring at me and coldly said, “Say it again.” 

“I said I don’t care about what happened between you and her…” 

Before I could finish my sentence, he firmly gripped my chin. The individual who had always appeared gentle and reserved in my presence abruptly transformed. He questioned sternly. “Hope Royston, do you even have a heart?” 

Shouldn’t I be the one to ask him this question? 

I was pinched by him, tears in my eyes, but I still endured the pain, facing his gaze directly, and said loudly, “No.”

I was a little puzzled, but I didn’t press further. 

Donald was Barry’s nephew, growing up by Barry’s side and working for Christopher for many years, rarely making mistakes when speaking.
