Chapter 42 Could It be My Child then? 

I couldn’t help but laugh. 

Christopher was going to take responsibility for her.

Evelyn caressed her pregnant belly and said, “You two should hurry up and get divorced.”

“There are only two spots in total. Are you so kind?”

Evelyn waved outside, and her assistant brought in a document. 

Evelyn handed it to me and said, “Here are the requirements for the MS Group design competition this time. Take at look. The deadline is next Friday, so make sure to send me the design draft via email by Wednesday.” 

I took over to read. “Doesn’t it state here that once the document is signed with the company’s name, it should be promptly forwarded to MS Group via email?”

“Could it possibly be mine?” I retorted sarcastically.

“Since the child is not mine, why am I curious.” 

“Is it mine?“. 

“The child is Chris’s. I am carrying his child, the culmination of our love of over a decade.” 

She was quite proud with her slender fingers occasionally touching her pregnant belly. 

“Okay, I got it.” 

“What’s with that attitude?”
