Where Petals of Vengeance Bloom novel Chapter 75

Vincent's lips trembled violently as his eyes fixated on the gruesome wound on Claire's shoulder. The deep crimson of her blood felt like a sharp sword piercing straight into his heart.

It was as if something lodged in his throat, preventing him from uttering a single word.

A profound sense of despair engulfed him entirely.

Countless times, he had imagined reuniting with Claire, believing that despite their turbulent past, they could eventually find solace in each other’s company once more.

But now, everything spiraled out of his control.

Fear gripped him—a fear of facing this Claire, who was now filled with hatred; a fear of the endless coldness in her eyes.

He could no longer bear to stand there in front of her.

With great difficulty, he turned away, his steps unsteady and hurried as he fled the hospital room.

As Vincent made his escape, Claire collapsed like a deflated balloon, her tense body suddenly devoid of strength, slowly sinking backward.

"Miss Claire!" May cried out in panic, her voice echoing urgently, "Doctor, we need help!"

When Claire awoke, she found herself no longer in the hospital room.

She looked around, bewildered by the pink, princess-themed decor that filled the room, unsure of her location.

She sat up abruptly, her movement aggravating the wound on her shoulder, and a muffled groan escaped her lips.

Once the searing pain subsided, she peeked under her collar. The injury had been treated, a white bandage wrapped around her shoulder, with a faint trace of blood seeping through.

Claire got out of bed and walked straight to the door. As she opened it, she realized she was back at the Linwood family estate, in what was once Ethan's room, now inexplicably transformed into a princess-themed sanctuary.

Her brow furrowed slightly as she glanced downstairs.
