Frank couldn't take his eyes off Becky White as she snuggled close to Sheri, turning her face away, ignoring him completely.
"Hey, big bro."
Sheri gave Frank a nod, "I'm worried about Becky. I want to take her back to Oak Manor."
"Sure."
Frank agreed without hesitation. Given Becky's current state, he was concerned she might face more troubles.
He turned to Sheri, filled with gratitude, "Thanks a lot, Sheri."
"It's nothing."
Sheri shook her head lightly and looked over at Gil, "I can make this decision, right?"
"Of course."
Gil nodded without any objection.
"You're the lady of the house. What you say goes."
Still, he seemed a bit concerned.
If Sheri took Becky back with her, would they end up sharing a room? And if so, where would that leave him?
"Alright, then it's settled."
Sheri, sensing his reluctance, decided to proceed with her plan regardless.
"Becky, let's go."
Ignoring him, Sheri linked arms with Becky and headed towards the elevator, with the brothers following closely behind.
While waiting for the elevator, Sheri took the opportunity to make a call.
She dialed the Oak Manor's staff.
"It's me, Sheri... Please prepare a guest room... Yes, thank you."
After hanging up and catching Gil's amused look, she felt puzzled. Why was he suddenly smiling?
Just moments ago, he seemed unhappy about her taking Becky back. And now, it seemed like he had a sudden change of heart.
But she didn't dwell on it...
The elevator doors opened.
"Becky, let's go."
Gil glanced at his brother, and both followed Sheri and Becky, a subtle smile playing on his lips.
He was actually pleased!
