Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1047
Even though Mr. Chase from the asylum promised Joshua that he would arrange for nurses to supervise Luna to prevent her from ‘harming herself’. But he knew better than anyone that Luna’s finger was not the product of her self-harm.
But even so, pretenses had to be upheld, he might not be able to handle it if Joshua decided to take action against them.
So, he recruited a few temporary workers from a recruitment agency in the city center and interviewed them briefly. He did not even bother reading their resumes and immediately ordered them to supervise Luna. After all, Luna had been injected with the medication that they prepared, she
would be exhausted. Even getting out of bed would be a struggle, it was impossible for her to escape, what more hurt herself. Hiring these extra workers
was just a show to placate Joshua. In the evening.
Luna lay on the bed, watching as the nurse arranged for a few dark-skinned men to guard her door, and a cold sneer appeared on her lips.
What sort of misunderstanding was there between Joshua and herself? Even if she was a monster with three heads and six arms, she would not be able to escape from this place. Did he have to station so many people outside her door? As if she was some sort of monster that had to be guarded tightly even in her sleep.
She closed her eyes, sighed deeply, and lay on the bed to get some rest. Even though one of her fingers had been snapped in half today, but luckily, in the evening a nurse gave her another shot of pain killers. She would be able to sleep through the night. She would worry about tomorrow when the time came.
Sometime later, she heard the rustling sound of the door opening. She opened her eyes in confusion and instead, saw a pair of clear, bright eyes. The intruder was wearing a mask, so Luna did not recognize him for a second.
Seeing that she was awake, he pulled his mask down, exposing his cold, handsome face.
Luna was so shocked that she was rendered speechless for a long while. This face belonged to…
“Luke Jones?! “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
