Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1458
“Lucas, I’m making a quick trip back to Banyan City tomorrow.“
Lucas froze when he heard this. “Sir…are you sure about this?
“We’ve just managed to get back on our feet here in Merchant City. On top of that, Luke has already taken over eighty percent of the gangs here.
“We’ll succeed very soon, so are you sure you want to leave Merchant City at a time like this?“
Joshua let out a sigh and replied, “I’ll return on my own. You and Luke can stay here and continue keeping an eye on things.
“But you can declare to the public that you’ve left with me so that people will think Lynch Group has given up trying to conquer Merchant City, okay?“
Lucas remained silent for a moment, then nodded. “Help me book a flight for tomorrow.“
With that, Joshua hung up the phone. Christopher would never lie to him.
He did not care whether this Clinging Root would be able to cure Rosalyn, nor did he care whether Luna would go home with him after Rosalyn was successfully cured.
All he knew was that even if there were only a glimmer of hope…he would take it!
Luna spent the entire night tossing and turning. Bonnie, too, tossed and turned alongside her.
Even after knowing that Jim and Luna were just half- siblings, she was still upset, partly because of Luna and partly because of how Jim had treated her.
She could not understand why Jim had refused to tell her that he had taken Luna to visit her birth mother.
What was wrong with telling her the truth? Did she mean so little to Jim that she did not deserve to hear any explanation?
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie let out a sigh and clutched Luna’s hand. “I don’t think you should give up on Joshua so easily. He’s…one of a kind.“
This was the first man Bonnie had ever come across that was so loyal and dedicated that he was willing to sacrifice so much for Luna.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
