Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1496
Joshua had been the one who had found the Clinging Root.
Malcolm and Hunter had simply used the fact that Jude and Christopher had never met in real life before to trick them!
The Landry family had even thought that Malcolm was their savior and given the Quinn Group plenty of business privileges.
Malcolm glanced at Rosalyn with a pitiful expression, then glanced at Luna. Finally, he lowered his head and confessed, “It was all my fault…”
He let out a sigh and continued, “I knew that Mrs. Landry needed the Clinging Root for the antidote, and I was nervous to prove myself, but…”
He lowered his head to stare at his legs. “But I’m already a cripple, and I can’t afford to go searching for it myself, so I asked my cousin Hunter to help me
Malcolm closed his eyes with a pained expression and leaned against the headrest of his wheelchair. “I had been reminding Hunter of this search every day and even gave him everything I had left in exchange for this favor. Finally, he promised me that he’d think of a way.
“After that, you all know what happened. He returned with the Clinging Root, and I brought it to Swan Lake Chalet immediately for Dr. Christopher. “
As he said this, Malcolm let out a sigh. “I had no idea that Hunter had…done all this behind my back. I thought he had sent his men out to search for the Clinging Root, but I was wrong.”
Malcolm clenched his fists and started pounding on his limp legs. “It’s all my fault! Why am I so useless? If I cou1d’ve stood up and searched for it myself, none of this would have happened…! “
With that, he lifted his head to stare at Christopher, then at Rosalyn, with tears clinging onto the edge of his eyes. Then, he gave them each a bow. “I had only found out about this today. I apologize for my ignorance and I apologize on behalf of my cousin brother, Hunter.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
