Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1497
“Why would I object to that?” Malcolm glanced at Christopher, smiling, but the look in his eyes was as cold as ice. “It was my cousin Hunter’s fault that led to Luna and Joshua’s misunderstanding, so I should let Luna see Joshua and explain everything.
” Besides…” Malcolm glanced at Luna with a tender expression. “I trust her. Since she has already agreed to marry me, I know that she won’t leave me hastily and run away from Merchant City. Why would I be worried about letting her see Joshua?”
Luna furrowed her brows when she heard this.
She inexplicably felt a little uncomfortable by this. She had always thought that Malcolm knew what kind of person she was.
Since she had made her choice, she would not regret her decision. However, Malcolm’s words were hinting at her not to change her mind about the engagement.
” Since you’re fine with that, Malcolm, I’ll go with Christopher to Swan Lake Chalet right now. ” Luna stood up in annoyance and walked over to Joshua’s side. “Please lead the way.”
Joshua’s eyebrows scrunched up in a smile when he saw how irritated Luna was. Then, he chuckled and replied in a low voice, “Ms. Luna, this is the Landry Mansion. If anyone were to lead the way, it’d be you, wouldn’t it?”
Luna paused when she heard this. Then, she pursed
her lips and walked in front of him, leading the way.
Seeing that Luna and Joshua were leaving, Christopher started packing his things. “Well, since you say this switcheroo had nothing to do with you, Master Quinn…I await Hunter’s apology to the Landry family, as well as his punishment for committing such a deceitful act.”
He glanced at the servant who had spied for the Quinn family and said, “I have no use for this servant anymore. You should bring him back to Quinn Mansion, Master Quinn.”
With that, Christopher turned and strode away.
Malcolm could not help noticing something strange as the three of them walked away.
Christopher had brought two men with him to the Landry Mansion. If one of them was a spy that he had intended to testify against him…then the other must be one of Christopher’s real assistants.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
