Chapter 1736
“Luna…might not be able to get the phone right now.”
“Anyone else from the Landry family is fine! Get Charles or Jim!”
Dr. Rachel anxiously persisted as she tried to correct the disturbances in Rosalyn’s vital signs, “Especially Charles! Get him to call here, or better yet, get him to come to Lincoln City right away! Rosalyn isn’t going to make it!”
Theo’s entire body froze when he heard this. “How could this be?”
“Just now, a man claiming to be Rosalyn’s brother arrived to see her and said some stuff to her that led to her condition deteriorating.”
Never had Dr. Rachel thought that this man named Quentin would be able to destroy Rosalyn’s will to survive just with a few sentences.
After all, this was a mature, level-headed woman in her mid-fifties. Apart from the fact that she could not speak or move, she still maintained her consciousness and was still capable of thinking for herself.
This was the first time Dr. Rachel discovered that it only took ten minutes to destroy an adult’s will to survive!
Theo grew anxious when he heard this. He quickly stormed upstairs and kicked open Joshua’s room door.
At this moment, inside the room, Joshua was trying to tie Luna against the bed with some bath towels.
“Joshua… Don’t do this to me… You’re hurting me…”
Luna’s whiney voice echoed through the room.
Theo let out an exhale and passed on Dr. Rachel’s message to Joshua. “I have to get in touch with Jim and Charles right now. You have to find a way to wake Luna up as soon as possible.”
Joshua furrowed his brows. “I can’t do that.”
He had just gotten off the phone with Christopher and two other doctors. After seeing the state Luna was in, all three doctors shook their heads and said that apart from sleeping with her, the only way Luna could recover from the drug’s effects was to wait it out until the drug wore off in the morning.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
