Chapter 1737
Jim could not believe his ears.
“Are you…Joshua Lynch?” he asked dubiously.
“Yes, it’s me.” Joshua curled his lips into a smirk and said, “I guess after a year of spending time together, you’ve grown to recognize my voice quite well.”
Jim rolled his eyes and asked, frowning, as he flung open the car door and got into the car,” Why is Luna with you?”
Had she not gone to conduct a business meeting with Mr. Hanson?
“How dare you even ask me that?” Joshua curled his lips into a sneer. “After announcing her return to Landry Group, I thought you’d assign her some other task to increase morale within the company, but it turns out you sent her to attend an orgy with Mr. Hanson and his friends.”
Joshua then added condescendingly, “If it weren’t for me, she would’ve woken up in Mr. Hanson’s bed by now! What kind of brother are you?”
Joshua’s scolding made Jim furrow his brows in confusion. “What on earth are you talking about?”
When did he send Luna to attend an orgy?
Luna had requested him to assign her a challenging task that would assert Landry Group’s dominance as well as increase morale within the employees, so he had sent her on a mission to conduct a business meeting with Mr. Hanson.
That evening, before getting off work, he had even asked her if she had any idea how to accomplish this.
At that time, Luna had told her that Mr. Hanson was hosting a dinner party that night, and she wanted to attend it.
When Jim heard this, he did not overthink it at all and instead agreed with her, thinking that it would be good for her to attend social gatherings like this to work on her social skills.
Little did he know that the party she would be attending was an…
“Who else would’ve sent her on this mission if not you?” Joshua scoffed. “Don’t try to evade your responsibility in this.
“Not many people know about this party of Mr. Hanson’s tonight, and according to Luna’s connections here in Merchant City, she couldn’t have possibly found out about this herself.
“However, not only did she discover this, but she even attended it herself.
“Who else could’ve possibly been able to obtain this news, told Luna about it, and made her willing attend it?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
