Chapter 1742
“Nothing.” Jim’s expression was so cold it was as though he would kill someone at any moment. “I’m sorry for disturbing the two of you; go back to bed!”
With that, he slammed the phone down.
Luna furrowed her brows, and just as she was about to ask him what had happened, Jim stood up and said, “I’m going out for a walk.”
With that, he left the room, slamming the door behind him.
Luna glanced at the door with a blank look, her mind full of questions,
Was he not about to ask Christopher if he knew anything about Quentin? Why did he…
“He’s upset about something.” As a fellow man, Joshua could tell what had happened just by Jim’s attitude and body language. He furrowed his brows and said, “Why don’t you ask Bonnie who she was with last night?”
Luna froze for a moment, then came to a realization. “So Bonnie was the one who picked up the phone just now?”
The fact that Christopher’s phone was with Bonnie so early in the morning meant that they had spent the night together.
Luna rubbed her brows in frustration.
Just a few days ago, Charlotte had materialized out of nowhere, claiming to be Jim’s first girlfriend, and all of a sudden, Jim had discovered that Bonnie was involved with Christopher.
Luna bit her lip.
Could it be that…Jim and Bonnie were not meant to be after all?
“Let’s not dwell on that anymore.” Joshua let out an exhale and glanced impassively at Luna.” Who was the one that told you to attend Mr. Hanson’s party last night?
“I sent my men to interrogate Harold about this, and he said that someone bribed him under your name, requesting him to let you attend the party.
“He had told the person who bribed him very clearly that the party was supposed to be an orgy, but the person had said it wasn’t a problem at all and that you were willing to attend.”
With that, he fixated his penetrating stare on Luna’s face and added, “I want to know were you the one who volunteered to attend this party, or did Jim put you up to this.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
