Chapter 1760 Heather suddenly received a call from a foreign number as soon as she got into the car after coming out of the DNA Diagnostic Center.
She furrowed her brows as she picked up the call.
“Heather, you’re the reason Jim discovered I’m here,” Charlotte’s displeased voice rang out from the other end of the line. She sneered and icily added, “You’re just as much of a busybody as you were six years ago!”
Heather could not help curling her lips into a smirk when she heard how exasperated Charlotte was. “This is what you get for not paying me, Charlotte.”
She curled her lips into a triumphant smile. “I told you before. Even though I’m no longer the heiress of the Landry family, it still doesn’t make it okay for you to order me around like this.
“I still haven’t told Jim about your involvement in helping us kill Luna.
“After all, the only reason we got to know Jason was because of you, wasn’t it?”
As soon as she said this, Heather smacked her forehead in sudden realization. “Oh, you probably don’t know this, do you, Charlotte?
“In the past, you bribed Jason to ‘lend’ his girlfriend to Jim for one night, leading to the birth o f Harvey, all because you weren’t fertile and wanted to use a child to keep Jim by your side…
“Do you know who that woman was? That woman is Bonnie Craig, Jim’s current girlfriend!
“Not only does Jim like her, but Harvey adores her as well, and she’s now even taking care of Jim’s one-month-old daughter.
“Do you think if I were to tell Jim right now that she’s actually Harvey’s mother…
“According to his devotion to his loved ones, do you think he’d choose kind, innocent, Bonnie, or deceitful, ugly Charlotte?”
Charlotte could feel her blood pressure rising as soon as she heard this. She gripped her phone tightly and snapped, “Don’t you dare!”
“Why wouldn’t I dare?” remarked Heather triumphantly as she leaned against the seat of her car, sneering.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
