Chapter 1761
Luna looked around in the archives of Central Hospital but did not find the files on Heather having a child there back then.
Luna asked the staff there once again. They told her that there was only one archive room in the hospital. If there was a file on Heather, it would definitely be there.
In the end, after the second round of futile searching, Luna gave up. Leaving the archives, the more Luna thought, the more she felt that Gwen was right.
Logically speaking, the information on Heather giving birth should be in the archives. If it was not there, someone must have taken it.
If there was nothing fishy going on with Heather giving birth, that what they said about Heather smoothly birthing Riley was true, then why did they take away the files on her operation in the hospital back then?
Luna returned to Gwen’s ward filled with confusion. She told Gwen about the missing files when at that moment, Lucas frantically rushed in from outside.
“Ma’am, something has happened! I was about to head out to buy some food for Ms. Gwen upon the doctor’s orders when I bumped into Heather Landry!”
Luna was already looking for Heather’s file in the hospital and was telling Gwen about the missing file at that moment, so when she heard Heather’s name being mentioned, Luna naturally thought that Heather was also there for the files.
She creased her brows. “Heather? Is she-“.
“Something has happened to Heather,” Lucas interrupted Luna, stuttering as he did because h e had run too anxiously prior.
“I saw her being pushed into the emergency room covered in blood. It seems like she met with a serious accident!”
Luna’s eyes widened suddenly upon Lucas’ words.
“She met with an accident?”
“Yes!” Lucas nodded. “She might not survive…”
Luna felt as if something exploded in her mind. Why did Heather suddenly meet in an accident?
Luna bit her lip, pushed Lucas to the side, and rushed out of the ward toward the emergency room. She was just suspecting that Heather’s Riley has relations with her children. Heather must not die!
Not before she found out about Riley’s identity, at least.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
