Charlotte had yet to finish her sentence when Jim’s phone rang all of a sudden.
He picked up the call, frowning.
Joshua’s low voice, laced with a hint of a smile, rang out from the other end of the line,” Hello, Mr. Landry. This must be the first thing we ever talked on the phone ever since you lost your memories.”
Jim narrowed his eyes and sneered, “Yes, this is the first time we’ve ever talked on the phone, but even before this, I’ve already gotten to know you very well, Mr. Lynch.”
There was a trace of hatred in Jim’s voice.
Joshua could not help chuckling when he heard this. “I cañ tell from your voice that you hate m e very much right now, Mr. Landry. Well, don’t worry, because I’m not going to waste much of your precious time.”
He let out an exhale and continued impassively, “I can tell you very clearly that even though she agreed to meet with you at Landry Mansion, Luna will not give in to your terms and hand over her shares of Landry Group.”
As soon as she heard this, Charlotte’s brows scrunched up into a scowl. She snapped through gritted teeth, “What right does she have to refuse us?
“Since she has already been kicked out of the Landry family, she should maintain her distance and return all the money!
“All this money doesn’t even belong to her!”
“Who owns the money if not her? Do you think you’re the rightful owner of the Landry family’s fortune, Ms. Jacobs?” Joshua interrupted her curtly. “Ms. Jacobs, I’m talking to Mr. Landry right now, and since when have you become his spokesperson? Has he become mute? Doesn’t he know how to speak for himself?”
The color drained from Charlotte’s face when she heard this.
“Do you like stealing things from other people so much, Ms. Jacobs, that aside from stealing someone else’s childhood, memories, and identity, you have now set out to steal Luna’s money and Jim’s freedom of speech?”
As soon as he said this, Joshua could not help snickering. “Why do you like stealing things so much, Ms. Jacobs?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
