Jim’s entire body broke out in cold sweats as soon as he heard Joshua’s threat.
Joshua’s voice sounded extremely arrogant, so much so that it terrified Jim.
Jim could not remember, even in his brief memories, anyone having ever spoken to him like this.
It was bad enough that Joshua dared to threaten him like this, but he had the capabilities of making these threats come true, too.
These days, the first thing Jim did after losing his memory was getting an understanding of the Landry Group’s latest developments, then investigating Lynch Group.
Joshua Lynch was indeed the business prodigy everyone thought he was.
Jim, too, could not help but notice that during the past year that Joshua had arrived in Merchant City, he had plenty of opportunities of defeating Landry Group once and for all.
However, he chose not to do so.
For the past year, Joshua had been focusing his energy on attacking the more powerful and more power-hungry Quinn family.
As for the Landry family, all the attacks they had suffered were simply collaterals of the attacks on the Quinn family.
Despite never having shifted his focus onto the Landry family, Joshua was still capable of defeating them until they were on the verge of bankruptcy.
Therefore, it was clear that they had yet to witness the true extent of this man’s power.
As soon as he thought of this, Jim let out an exhale and asked, “Why are you helping Luna?
“If me and Charlotte had successfully forced Luna out of the Landry family, she’d be rendered homeless and remain by your side. When that happens, you’ll be able to bring her back to your hometown, Banyan City. Isn’t that a good thing?
“Why are you so fixated on helping Luna and trying to fight against us?”
Jim was not the only one wondering this. Both Charlotte and Roanne had thought of this before, too.
The more severe their rivalries got, the more disappointed Luna would be in the Landry family.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
