‘I love her so deeply and so much that I will help her do anything she wants.’
“Loving someone means that you will do anything in your power to make her happy, even if it means making yourself suffer.’
Jim closed his eyes and could not help sneering when he thought of this.
He could not believe that something as mundane as love and romance would one day become the weakness of Joshua Lynch, business prodigy.
Fortunately, Jim was a heartless person and loved only himself.
His being with Charlotte was just a fulfillment of his childhood promise to her.
That was not to say that he had never been in love with Charlotte before. He had, in the past.
However, for some reason, when he saw Charlotte after losing his memories for the first time i n six years, he could not seem to summon his passion for her anymore.
At this point, his feelings toward Charlotte were more toward fulfilling a responsibility rather than actually loving her.
Jim thought that this was a good state to be in, since without distractions of love and romance, he was far more rational and would not commit stupid mistakes like Joshua, nor would he be like Christopher and fall for a tacky woman like that.
As soon as he thought of Christopher, Joshua could not help recalling the woman he had seen a t the hospital that morning.
At that time, he had misunderstood Bonnie’s relationship with that strange man and even called her a slut.
However, not only had she refused to admit it, but she even took out a pen and paper to write down her so-called evidence of them having slept together in the past.
‘The first time you and I slept together was at 10 p.m. at Tea Cottage ten months ago, on the nth of one particular month. I have two witnesses of this incident; one of them being your sister Luna and the other being one of your drivers who goes by Mr. Williams.
‘The second time you and I slept together was nine-and-a-half months ago at Starhill Hotel a t midnight. At that time, something drastic had happened to your family, and you were confused as to whether you should return to Landry Group to help your family or not. Witnesses of this incident were the housekeepers and the lobby receptionist at Starhill Hotel…
‘The third time…
\’The fourth time…’
Bonnie had written down every incident clearly, down to the date, venue, and witnesses.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
