Chapter 1931
Bonnie had been standing outside the pantry for a while.
After Roanne brought her to Mickey to fix her broken finger, Bonnie rushed here as soon as she was done.
She was still worried about Gwen, after all.
Bonnie and Luna both knew the lengths that Charlotte was willing to go to just to get what she wanted, and Gwen, on the other hand, had been suffering from ill health for quite some time.
When Gwen first suggested the idea of disguising herself and Bonnie to trick Charlotte, both Bonnie and Luna were against this idea.
However, because Gwen had insisted, and even Luke had agreed, the two of them finally
relented.
Despite this, Bonnie was still worried that Charlotte would, in a way, harm Gwen. Therefore, a s soon as she was done, she sprinted toward the pantry without even thinking twice about her condition.
However, she never thought that…
The first thing she would see when she arrived was the scene of Jim intentionally hurting himself to save Charlotte.
She stared dazedly at Jim’s red, blistered palm and suddenly felt as though something was missing from her heart.
Did Charlotte…mean that much to him?
Did Charlotte mean so much to him that he would put himself in danger to protect her?
What about her?
For the past year that she and Jim had been together, the thing she feared the most was Jim falling ill.
After all, Jim’s father, Charles, had a psychiatric condition, so Bonnie had been worried that this disease was hereditary.
Therefore, over the past year, she had been buying Jim medications and supplements that would aid his mental stability and even started brewing herbs and traditional medicine that would help him, which was an impressive feat considering she had never cooked for anyone in her life.
There were a few occasions when she had accidentally fallen asleep sitting next to the stove out of exhaustion.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
