Chapter 2013
Bonnie’s memories of her stay at the orphanage
surged into her mind.
Number-12 was none other than Charlotte!
Bonnie had seen photos of Charlotte before she suffered her burns before, and at this moment, she was certain that Charlotte and Number-12 were the
same people!
Charlotte was the tiny, timid little girl who followed her everywhere and with whom she shared her food, and she had even constantly called Bonnie
her big sister!
Because of that, before Bonnie left the orphan age, she had given Charlotte all the red clothes she liked and even warned the rest of the children not to bully Charlotte. She had told them that from that day onward, Number-12 was the new Number-9, and no one was allowed to take advantage of her.
It did not matter that she was adopted. If anyone were to bully Number-12, she would return to the
orphanage to whip their asses!
At that time, Bonnie truly thought of Charlotte as
her friend, but
It turned out that when Jim returned to the orphanage for her, Charlotte had taken her place
and stolen her identity!
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie felt as though an invisible hand was squeezing her heart.
“Bonnie.” Seeing that Bonnie was staring at him but not saying anything, Jim furrowed his brows and shot her a stern look, frostily snapping, “Who allowed you to come into the main building without
my permission?”
He had been clear with her the night before; she was to stay in the tiny house in the yard and he in the main building so that their paths would not
cross!
However, not only had she barged into the main building without his permission, but she even eavesdropped on his conversation with Roanne!
What was she trying to do?
Did Bonnie think that she had somehow won the battle just because Charlotte was not here and got
cocky?
Jim could not believe that just that night before, he had been wondering whether he and Bonnie had

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
