Chapter 2091
Luna could tell that something was not right with Rachel, but since she was not that familiar with Rachel, she did not dare to say anything to her. Caleb shot Rachel another helpless glance as she stormed off, then entered the room with Luna and Joshua. Inside, Theo was tidying and straightening Roanne’s clothes while a doctor was checking all of Roanne’s vital signs. When he heard the footsteps behind him, Theo thought it was Rachel who had returned and proceeded to declare without even turning around, “Rachel, I always thought that you’d be far more mature and level-headed in a situation like this, seeing as you’re older than me.
“I never thought that the only thing on your mind as you watched a woman die before your eyes would be jealousy toward her. “I don’t think this is working out, so—” “So you want to dump her?” Caleb interjected coldly before Theo could even finish his sentence. He furrowed his brows and scowled at Theo. “Do you even know how happy she was last night as soon as she knew she’d be coming to see you? “She thought you’d be as happy to see her as she was to see you, but what happened? How dare you even say these things to her?” Not only was Theo not ashamed of being scolded like this, but he grew even more outraged.” So what if I say these things to her?
“She’s a doctor, so she, out of anyone, would be able to understand a dying person’s last wishes. It was all my fault that Roanne ended up like this! Is it wrong of me to fulfill her dying wish of hugging her and giving her one last kiss? “If Rachel’s love toward her is so shallow and narrow-minded, then we might as well not be together at all!” Caleb sucked in a deep breath. He knew fully well that Rachel was not an ordinary woman.
He had known her for many years, and the reason Rachel had yet to settle down despite being almost 30 was not that she did not have any suitors, but because she had incredibly high standards and had never fallen for any of them.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
