Chapter 2107 “Well, if you trust me…”
Rosalyn let out an exhale. “I want to tell you the truth.”
She stared at Bonnie’s back and explained carefully, “I was the one who had created the drug that Charlotte poisoned Jim with, so I know better than anyone how the drug works.
“Many years ago, I had invented this drug so that Charles could forget Lucy and not be subjected to so much suffering after her death.
This drug works on the brain in a way that…erases all the memories of the most important things in one’s life”
Bonnie’s entire body stiffened when she heard this.
She turned around slowly, staring at Rosalyn, and asked in a trembling voice, “What… What do you mean, Mrs. Landry?”
“What this means is that…” Rosalyn sighed, rubbed her brows in exhaustion, and said with a hint of guilt on her face, “Anyone who takes this drug will remember every detail of the things that don’t matter to them but will not be able to remember even a single thing about the most important people and things in their life.”
Then, she fixated her earnest gaze on Bonnie and added, “The reason he doesn’t remember you is that…to him, you’re the person that matters the most.”
Bonnie stared at Rosalyn in disbelief, feeling as though someone had knocked her in the back of her head with a hammer.
She found it hard to digest Rosalyn’s words.
The reason Jim could not remember her…was because she was the person that mattered the most to him?

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
