Rosalyn’s words echoed in Bonnie’s mind even after she left the room.
“The reason he doesn’t remember you is that…to him, you’re the person that matters the most. “Please, promise me that you’ll marry Jim.”
Bonnie bit her lip as her mind started to buzz. For a split second, she found it difficult to digest what Rosalyn had said. All this while…she was the person that mattered the most to Jim.
How could this be?
Bonnie’s mind kept replaying all the events that had occurred since she arrived in Merchant City and Jim’s cold attitude toward her.
Every time they met, he would look at her with an expression so repulsed that it was as though she was the most disgusting thing he had ever seen. How could she matter to a man who treated her like this? Bonnie could not seem to convince herself of this. However, she could not deny Rosalyn’s claims either. All of a sudden, after walking for God knew how long in her daze, Bonnie heard the sound of a horn behind her. .
The sharp blaring of the horn pierced through her thoughts, and she immediately snapped out of her daze. She quickly turned around. Jim’s black Kayenne was parked behind her, and he wound his window down when she finally turned around.
“Get in the car.” Bonnie paused for a moment, contemplating this, then finally gave in to her instinct. She opened the door and got into his car.
Jim started the engine. He gripped the steering wheel tightly and said in a cold voice, without even a single hint of emotion, “I know you don’t want to marry me either, since…”
He curled his lips into a smirk and finished his sentence on a disdainful note.
“You’ve already taken a new lover.”

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
