Chapter 2139
After listening to Bonnie’s plan, Joshua immediately sent a few of his men to pack Bonnie, Harvey, and June’s bags and send them to Tea Cottage.
When Bonnie finally finished her IV fluids in the evening, she felt a lot better.
With Joshua and Luna’s help, she finally returned to Tea Cottage.
Standing at the gate, a bitter smile crept across Bonnie’s face as she stared at the familiar building She still remembered..
This was the place where Jim and her first slept together, a place that held too many memories of her and Jim.
This was where they first met and started dating.
The first time they cooked together.
The first time they showered together… All of these memories surged into her mind as she closed her eyes.
The image of Jim’s cold and hostile attitude toward her that afternoon appeared before her eyes.
‘Forget him,’ Bonnie thought to herself.
It was time to let go.
In a few days, after the person who raped Nikki was captured, and after she settled the issue of Harvey’s guardianship, she would leave this city.
She, and the child inside her belly, would return to the place she belonged.
As soon as she thought of this, Bonnie let out an exhale and strode into the yard.
“Bonnie,” a low, male voice rang out from behind her before she could reach the front door.
This voice sounded both strange and familiar.
She glanced in the direction of the voice.
Christopher, who she had not seen in a long time, was standing underneath the trellis in the yard.
When he saw her looking at him, he smiled and walked over.
“Long time no see.”
Bonnie instinctively took a step backward.
Truth be told, it had not been that long.
It had only been half a month since she last saw Christopher, which was when he broke her finger out of brute force.
Her finger had not fully healed yet.
As soon as she thought of the incident, as well as the time Christopher brought Jim with him
to Joshua’s place to force her to return home with him, a surge of fear rose in her heart.
She pursed her lips and glanced at the bodyguards stFV>AD+}ling next to her.
“How did he get
in?
The leader of the guards quickly stepped forward and explained, “Mr. Roberts said that he’s here to visit Ms. June, and he gave his word that he wouldn’t hurt Ms. June, Master Harvey, or Ms. Shelly; that was why we let him in.
“After he came in, he kept to his word and didn’t try anything to harm them at all, and in fact, even helped the babysitter coax Ms. Shelly to sleep…so…”
The guard pursed his lips.
“I… First off, I want to apologize to you.
“I have a family history of psychiatric illnesses, and I knew that one day, I’d end up like my mother, which was why I remained by Aunt Rosalyn’s side all this while so that she could help me gain control of my disease through medicine.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
