It was like Quentin knew everything about him…but this was the first time Jim had met him. Jim’s expression satisfied Quentin. With his lips curled into a small smile at Jim, he then turned to look at Luke.
“What makes you so sure that this woman, Charlotte, is here, Mr. Jones?”
Switching to a more comfortable position on the couch and glancing at everyone, Quentin’s small smirk surfaced to his face once more.
“Let me emphasize once more: we don’t have such a luxurious dungeon here, and we can’t possibly have such a big bed and recreational facilities. Moreover, the Quinn family has always obeyed the law and didn’t shelter that fugitive, Charlotte.” He took out a cigar and lit it up elegantly. After one puff, however, he suddenly remembered something and looked at Bonnie.
“Ms. Craig, do you mind that I smoke? If you do, I’ll put it out.”
This startled Bonnie.
She looked at Quentin, whose lips had curled upward, his eyes staring at her stomach meaningfully.
“Do you mind? Do you not?” Bonnie knew from his gaze that Quentin must have known about the child in her womb, and it …unsettled her greatly.
At the instance, she felt like all the joints on her body had gone stiff. After a while, she regained her senses and smiled embarrassingly. She turned around, not daring to have eye contact with Quentin.
“It…would be nice if you can put it out. I’m not used to the smell of cigarettes.”
Quentin smiled but did not put out the cigar.
“Are you not used to the cigarette smell, or is there another reason that you don’t like me to smoke?” Bonnie’s expression faltered into a more dire-looking one after that question.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
