“Why do you say this, Mr. Simms?” Jim narrowed his eyes.
“Would I have declared it so confidently if I didn’t have the answer myself?”
When they were in the dungeon, he had secretly marked the two women to tell them apart.
Jim had secretly ordered his men to ‘accidentally’ tear the shirt of the one who claimed to be Quentin’s daughter while dragging her up the stairwell.
At the thought of this, Jim got up and strode over to the servant with the torn shirt, a cold sneer playing on his lips.
“Whether it was me, Joshua, or Luke, none of us had managed to understand why Charlotte was so close with the Quinn family, so much so that they were willing to steal her from us at the expense of breaking the law.”
As he said this, he glanced coldly at Quentin, whose face was pale.
“What this servant just said reminded me that…” He chuckled and continued, “Charlotte was an orphan, and if she were your daughter, Mr. Simms, everything would make sense.”
The color drained from Quentin’s face.
A split second later, he sneered and replied, “What on earth are you talking about, Jim? Are we basing everything on this lowly servant’s claims? I can’t believe that you even went so far as to deduce that Charlotte is my daughter, too! What nonsense!”
Granny Quinn nodded in agreement as soon as he said this.
“That’s right! Quentin…can’t possibly have a child.”
Joshua furrowed his brows at the sight of Quentin and Granny Quinn’s desperate attempts to deny their correlation in this.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
