Jim did not see the sly look in Luna's eyes.
Instead, he furrowed his brows and stared at Luna in puzzlement, suddenly realizing that he did not understand her.
Even though he had lost his memories of their siblinghood over the past year, he had never once thought of her as a harsh, unkind person.
However, every word coming out of her mouth was nothing but false accusations of Sean's integrity.
Sean was injured, for God's sake! According to the doctor, he would have lost his hands if they did not perform emergency surgery on him instantly.
Jim could not believe Luna would say things like this about an injured patient! Where was her conscience? Seeing that Jim did not react to her words at all, Luna bit her lip and glanced at the fire escape door out of the corner of her eye.
The person standing there did not move even an inch.It seemed that she would have to take it up a notch.
"Jim!"
Luna sighed and raised her voice in indignation.
"You have to see through Sean's tricks! He's even more manipulative than Charlotte! Have you forgotten how smitten you were with her? Don't you remember how she tricked you and took you for granted? Now that the same thing is happening all over again, why are you choosing to believe this man?"
Luna had said all this on purpose in hopes that she would be able to provoke Jim into quarreling with her.
The person eavesdropping on them wanted nothing more than to see them turn on each other, did he not? However, to Luna's surprise, Jim let out a bitter chuckle at the mention of Charlotte's name.
"You're right; she tricked me like a child."

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
