Luna stared dazedly at the determined look on Jim's face.
"Jim."
She sniffed and said solemnly, "You claim that you won't believe anything I say without evidence, but did you do the same when questioning Bonnie in the past?"
She was curious to know the answer.
Jim's expression darkened upon hearing this.
Anger flashed through his eyes as he stared at Luna.
"Why are you bringing up Bonnie all of a sudden? Are you just trying to distract me from the fact that you don't have any evidence against Sean? I never thought you'd stoop so low, Luna!"
His steely gaze was fixated on Luna's face as he grew angrier.
"There's no way to explain everything between Bonnie and me to an outsider! Besides, if you care so much about Bonnie, you shouldn't even be doubting Sean at all; he's the one who saved her life before!”
"You claim that Sean is manipulating us, but let me ask you this: do you think he was trying to manipulate the situation to his benefit by saving Bonnie in her time of need? Was he trying to control us by saving Bonnie and me countless times? "It's one thing to be ungrateful, but another thing entirely to—"
However, before he could even finish his sentence, the sound of an iron grille door being slammed shut echoed out of the stairwell.
This sudden noise interrupted Jim mid-sentence, forcing the words back into his throat.
Jim gulped and turned to stare at Luna.He was about to say something when a man dressed in black sauntered out of the stairwell.
"Alright, he's gone, so you can stop acting now."
Joshua walked over to Luna's side and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
As soon as she heard this, Luna let out a sigh of relief and slumped against Joshua's shoulder in exhaustion.

This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....

Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
