Sean furrowed his brows and ignored Kate's question entirely, instead opening his mouth as the croissant neared.He had not had a single bite to eat since morning, and truth be told, he was ravenous.
"You didn't answer my question."
Seeing that Sean did not reply, Kate pursed her lips, drew her arm back, and tossed the croissant nimbly into her own mouth.
There was a crunch as she chomped on the crispy pastry.
"Do you think you'd be able to get away with eating my food without answering my questions? Well, in your dreams!"
Sean furrowed his brows when he saw the triumphant look on Kate's face.He was starving, but since he could not move his hands, there was nothing he could do apart from watching silently as this woman ate his food.
"You don't get a single bite unless you answer me!"
Kate rolled her eyes at him, then held the box of pastries close to her and resumed watching her show.
As she continued munching on her food, she could not help lamenting, "The truth is, there's nothing to be gained by being stubborn; that's the rule of every soap opera ever."
Then, she glanced at Sean out of the corner of her eye and added, "Unfortunately, this rule applies in real life, too."
Sean furrowed his brows but did not say anything in return.
So what if she refused to feed him? Was he going to give up his dignity for food? Even though Kate's question was not a difficult one to answer, he still did not feel like doing so.He was worried that after answering this one, there would be plenty of bizarre questions waiting for him.
Kate could not help pursing her lips when she noticed Sean swallowing his saliva but still refusing to speak.
A split second later, she let out a sigh of pity and said, "Seeing that you're a patient, I'm willing to give you another chance."
She tore open the packaging of another croissant and brandished it toward Sean.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
