Chapter 2389
Luna, too, was stunned by this sudden revelation.
Never, not even in her wildest dreams, had she thought that Jim would be hiding so much from them.
It made sense why Jim, when the Landry family was going through their toughest times, had so confidently told her that even if they went broke, he would be able to take them in.He had been preparing for this moment for a long time.
"Jim never revealed the extent of his assets because he had been thinking of us all along..." said Rosalyn, sighing, her head lowered as she continued wrapping gauze around Charles’ wound.
"This was why Butler Fred had taken advantage of the situation and collected so much incriminating evidence that led us to think Jim had betrayed us..."
She let out another sigh and finally lifted her head to stare at Jim with a relieved look.
"You never disappoint, my dear son."
A surge of warmth spread through Jim's heart when he heard these.
She...called him her dear son.
Did this mean that...not only had she forgiven him, but she even took pride in him? "T want to apologize to you, Jim."
Rosalyn sighed when she saw the delighted look on Jim's face.
"Yesterday, when I read the documents that Butler Fred gave him, I had initially been disappointed in you.I truly believed that you'd abandon us and focus on your own career."

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
