Standing in the cold wind, Luna stared as the three members of the Gibson family climbed into their car and drove away.
Since they were children, their parents’ love was focused solely on Aura. She did not get a single bit of it.
“Luna! “
When she was stuck in her daze, Anne had already rushed toward her.
“Are you okay?“ “I’m fine.“
Anne hooked an arm through hers intimately and said, “Come on, we’ll go to my house for soup! “
The three of them boarded John’s car. On the way, Anne chattered non-stop about the coincidence that day.
That day, because of Luna’s pregnancy tests, a misunderstanding was caused between Anne and John, and that later led to his promotion.
Luna looked outside the window, the scene from that day appearing in front of her eyes.
The night before, she and Joshua had slept together for the first time in six years.
But sadly, she did not get pregnant. A surge of sadness gushed in her chest.
Now that this new unknown ‘Luna Gibson’ had appeared, it would be almost impossible for her to get pregnant with Joshua’s child again.
Not too long later, they reached Anne’s home.
John helped Anne set up the pot for the soup then shrugged on his jacket and left. “I won’t be in the way of you two best friends reconnecting.“
When the sounds of his footsteps disappeared at the end of the hallway, Anne heaved a sigh of relief, clutching Luna’s hand in grief and said, “I was almost shocked to death when Neil called me and told me you were at the police station! What happened, why would your doppelgänger suddenly appear?“
“Someone has her eyes on the position as Mrs. Lynch.“
Luna sighed and told Anne about everything that happened recently.
“Oh my god, how could something like this happen?“
Anne’s heart ached uncontrollably. “Neil said he can take care of the situation over there at Blue Bay Villa, you don’t have to worry about him and Nellie. You should stay here with me for now.“
“Thank you.“ Luna raised her wine glass and emptied it.
Anne could tell she was in a bad mood, but she did not know how to comfort her, all she could do was match her glass for glass.
Then, she became drunk.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
