Chapter 2486
The sight of a father and son standing together at the altar would usually be an amusing one, but the solemn look on their faces made it hard for anyone to laugh.
The atmosphere in the room felt heavy and suffocating.
When he saw Bonnie coming, Jim let out an exhale and strode toward her, holding the bouquet in his hands.
Finally, he got down on one knee in front of her and said, "Bonnie, if I ever get the chance, I hope I can meet you again in my next life.
"If that opportunity arises, you can lose your memory and forget everything about me; you can do anything you want to me because this is what I owe you.
"I promise that no matter how you treat me, I'm going to stand by your side until the end of time."
With that, he placed the bouquet in Bonnie's lap, closed his eyes, and gently kissed her hand.
Watching this, Luna could not help laying against Joshua's chest in comfort, her eyes tearing at the sight before her despite knowing that Bonnie would not die.
In the past, she used to think that Jim and Bonnie's relationship was very superficial, and in her opinion, the only reason she and Jim had started dating was by accident.
That night, Heather spiked both Luna and Jim's drinks with an aphrodisiac, causing her to fall back into Joshua's arms, whereas Jim hooked up with Bonnie.
It was only after this that Jim and Bonnie started seeing each other in secret, and in Luna's opinion, any relationship that began as a purely physical one would not last long due to the lack of a stable foundation.
A relationship based on physical attraction and not an emotional one would not be a healthy relationship.
Therefore, Luna had always doubted Jim and Bonnie's relationship, but...
Staring at the earnest look on Jim's face, a twinge of pain shot through her heart. She knew that Jim and Bonnie were perfect for each other, and she was the one who had been mistaken all along.
All of a sudden, the clock struck nine.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
