Neil immediately deleted the photo.
Although he looked exactly like Nigel, there were subtle differences if one were to look closely.
Joshua was a meticulous person, and Neil feared he might notice them.
After deleting the photo, he returned the phone to Joshua. “What other tests are there? Let me do them, but you can’t disturb us anymore for the rest of the day.“
Joshua furrowed his brows. “Why are you suddenly so cooperative?’
Neil put up great resistance ever since he brought them to the hospital. Otherwise, Joshua would not have had to keep a close eye on them.
Who knew Neil would turn so obedient after looking at the photo?
Neil rolled his eyes. “I thought that you were afraid that we weren’t sick, so you hoped for us to die earlier. After seeing the photo, I now know that you’re concerned for me. I ’11 reluctantly cooperate then.“
Then, Neil ignored Joshua and rolled up his sleeves, letting the nurse take his blood.
At the sight of him finally cooperating, Joshua let out a long sigh and exited.
Outside in the corridors, Nellie was already on her third lollipop. Upon seeing Joshua, Nellie pursed her lips and remained silent.
Joshua took a deep breath and sat down next to Nellie.
“I heard that your stomach was uncomfortable last night?“
Nellie pursed her lips. She rolled her eyes rather aggrievedly. “If someone were to ask you to drink a couple bottles of milk within an hour, your stomach would be uncomfortable, too.“
Joshua sighed. “How many bottles did you drink?“ “Three. Neil drank five.“
Nellie pouted as she sat on the bench with a dissatisfied expression. “That crazy lady said that we have to finish ten bottles of milk, and only then would she not lock us up in the little dark house. She also said that since we’d complain about things like not having snacks and drinks to drink, she’d let us drink until we had enough.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
