“You’re hurt…“
“Just because I’m hurt doesn’t mean we should delay our progress.“
The two voices grew further and further away. Luna stood motionless as she watched the two of them leave. There was an indescribable feeling in her heart.
After a while, the supervisor let out an awkward cough. “Ms. Luna, shall we…continue?“
Luna finally came to and picked up the documents in front of her before she turned to look at the supervisor. “Please continue…“
It was noon when they finished their on-site investigation. According to the plan, they were supposed to have lunch in the car as they made their way to the next destination to attend the symposium for the design schemes.
However, citing Joshua’s injury as an excuse, Alice insisted on heading to a nearby restaurant for lunch instead. Luna wanted to head to their next destination as soon as possible, but since Gavin and Joshua did not object, Luna had no choice but to follow.
In the restaurant, Alice and Joshua sat on one side of the table, while Luna and Gavin were seated together on the other, much to Luna’s disgust.
“Joshua, your arm is hurt. Let me feed you instead, “
said Alice in a syrupy tone as soon as their food was served.
Joshua frowned and glanced at his sling before he murmured in acceptance. Alice was delighted at that. She picked up his food, gently blew on it to cool it, and brought the spoon up to Joshua’s mouth as though feeding a child.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
