The entire table grew silent, apart from the sound of Gavin sipping his water.
Alice stared at Joshua with an expression of disbelief and horror, unable to trust her ears. Was Joshua suggesting that another woman feed him in front of his wife?
”I don’t want to do that.” Luna shot Joshua a dismissive look before she glanced at the frozen- in- shock Alice. She then lowered her head and picked up her phone, about to read the news.
Alice smiled. This was the first time she and Luna agreed on something. ”Alright. Since Ms. Luna refuses to do so, I guess I should feed you.”
”What right does she have to refuse? ” Joshua tapped against the table with his left hand. ”I injured myself because of her. I had to get stitches! It’s not too much to ask her to feed me in return, is it?”
Luna was still reluctant to do so, but she did not have much of a choice. She lifted her head to glare at him. ”Mrs. Lynch is already feeding you, isn’t she?”
”Yes, but she hasn’t eaten yet. Since you’ re already done, why don’ t you take over so she can eat? I got injured because of you, and I now want you to feed me. Is that too much to ask?”
Luna paused for a moment, then came to a sudden realization. The only reason why Joshua wanted her to feed him was so Alice could take a break. Alice had not even taken a single bite of her food ever since they stepped foot in the restaurant. This was Joshua’s way of expressing his concern toward Alice.
‘Why hasn’t he ever shown me that sort of concern before?’ Luna could not help but think to herself.
Despite that, she scoffed and stood up anyway. She inched past Gavin and walked over to Alice. ”Please switch seats with me, Mrs. Lynch.”
Alice bit down on her lip and shot Joshua a helpless glance. ”I ‘in not even hungry, Joshua. I’ll eat after I’ve finished feeding you.”
Joshua stared at Alice and let out a chuckle. ”It’s okay. You should eat. You haven’ t eaten all day, and I wouldn’t want you to starve.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
