If all three of their children were dead, Luna and Joshua could not possibly get back together ever again.
As soon as she thought of this, Alice lifted her head to stare at the night sky above her and could not help letting out an evil cackle.
Six years.
She spent six years trying to turn herself into Luna Gibson, but in the process, both her father and Liam were in jail, while Richard and Yvonne were just barely getting by.
Alice was tired of trying. Even though she and Joshua were not meant to be, she would still use her last ounce of strength to break up Luna and Joshua!
As soon as she thought of this, she raised her head to gaze at him. “Joshua, tell me, what’s so special about Luna Gibson? I loved you for so many years, yet I became the person you hated the most in the end. Tell me, why are you so dull-witted?“
Joshua’s entire body stiffened when he heard this. He paused for a long while, then finally narrowed his eyes at Alice and spat out her real name slowly, “ Hailey Walter.“
He clenched his teeth. “It’s you. I shou1d’ve known.“
“I didn’t think you’d remember me.“ Alice laughed so hard that tears started to form in her eyes. “ Joshua, you know better than anyone how much I love you, right? I love you more than any other woman in the world.“
She flung the knife away and clawed at her face. “I turned myself into this just for you. I can’t even remember what my real face used to look like anymore. I did so much for you. What else do you want from me?“
Alice stood at the edge of the balcony, tears streaming down her face, though it was unclear whether it was from sorrow or all her laughing. “ Joshua, I love you so much, but it doesn’t matter anymore. You and Luna’s two children will be dead soon, and Luna’s baby is dying, too. You’ll lose everything you’ve ever known.“
She stared at Joshua with a deranged expression. “ You’re going to lose everything you have with her very soon.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
