Chapter 466 A Few More Siblings
Ava leaned over and asked, "Was that Julius?"
"Yes, he's home. He sent me a message," Charlotte replied.
Ava smiled, "That boy is truly adorable. He's so smart, and he doesn't have his father's arrogant attitude. Lottie, you should just take custody of him."
Charlotte put her phone away and headed for the elevator. "Do you think I can take him from Arthur?"
Ava nodded. "True, he's the only heir of the Harrison family. Not just Arthur, no one from the Harrison family would let go of him."
At that moment, Pete said, "Then we just need to make him not the only heir."
"What do you mean?" Ava looked at him.
Pete said, "Give him a few more siblings, and then he won't be the only heir."
Ava blinked, then playfully tapped him. "You kid, your mind's always working!"
Charlotte didn't respond.
Pete turned to her. He said, "You've already divorced. He'll eventually have a new girlfriend and remarry, and Julius will have brothers and sisters."
"I know," she replied calmly.
Pete looked at her deeply. "When that happens, will you be sad?"
Hearing this, she met his gaze, gave a small smile, and said, "If I were going to be sad, I wouldn't have chosen to divorce."
Pete nodded and chuckled, "True, you're right."
The elevator doors opened, and they all stepped inside.
When the elevator reached the first floor, the doors opened, and everyone in the elevator had different expressions when they saw the two people standing outside.
"Great-grandmother!"
Julius immediately ran in and hugged Ava's leg.
"Surprised?"
Arthur's face darkened abruptly. He glanced at Julius.
Julius blinked, then walked over to stand between Charlotte and Pete, taking Charlotte's hand. "Mom, can I sleep at your place tonight?"
Charlotte smiled, "Of course you can. But next time, you can just come back with me."
Julius said, "I want to give you a surprise."
"Okay," Charlotte responded.
The elevator doors quickly opened, and they all walked out, leaving Arthur alone in the elevator.
Julius turned around and waved at him. "Goodbye, Dad."
"Goodbye."
Arthur gave him a long, deep look.
Julius blinked, seeming to understand what Arthur meant, before turning away and walking off.
