“It’s just a nickname,” Ashley said. She picked up her phone and asked her secretary to buy some clothes, 

Elias grabbed her waist again. “Try calling me that next time.” 

Ashley pulled her hand away from his grip and said, “If there’s nothing else, leave.” 

Elias scoffed and put on his shirt. Then, he adjusted his collar in the mirror and casually said, “I saw Ms. Hoven downstairs earlier. What’s wrong with her and her friend? They looked miserable.” 

“It’s nothing.” As a lawyer, she couldn’t leak her client’s information. 

“I saw it on your phone just now. Her friend’s explicit photos were sent to the company group chat. That’s horrible.” 

Upon hearing his words, Ashley got even more upset. “Did you go through my phone? Do I need to tell you about privacy?” 

Elias lazily shot her a glance. “I just picked up the wrong phone. Besides, our phones look the same and don’t have any passwords or cases.” 

Ashley was furious. 

Elias stopped messing with her and grabbed his phone. “I’m leaving, Honey.” 

“I’m saying this one last time. Don’t look for me at my office,” Ashley warned. 

Elias gave her a slight smile. He messed around because he didn’t want to hold it against her. However, he was tired of being bossed around for so long. 

“That won’t do. We’re a married couple now. You haven’t been home for two days, and I miss you. That’s why I came here to see you. Remember to come home tonight. Otherwise, I’ll come again tomorrow.” 

Even since Ashley saw Elias with the influencer the other day, she had been staying in a hotel. 

Elias liked to bring up her age. “You might not understand it at your age, but a guy my age has needs.” 

Then, he eyed her again. “However, that shouldn’t be the case. I’m sure you have needs too, right?” 

Ashley didn’t react to his teasing. “I’ve been preparing a postnuptial agreement these past two days. I’ll send the document to your lawyer. Basically, if one of us has an affair, they’ll lose everything.” 

Elias stared at her for a few seconds and pretended to say nicely, “Sure. Send it to my lawyer.” 

A beat later, he added, “Let’s see if I’ll sign it.” 

Then, he left. 

Ashley heaved out a deep sigh. 

She remembered how Elias sneakily kissed her while she was asleep. He was younger back then. When Ashley caught him, he blushed but looked serious. 

“Ash, I like you. Don’t worry. I’ll protect you. I’ll get stronger when I’m older. Then, I’ll protect everything you care about.“. 

Now, the only person who had his eyes set on her assets was Elias. 

Elias didn’t go home after leaving Ashley’s office. Instead, he went to Westward Club. Unexpectedly, William was there as well. 

Elias mentioned how he saw Emelie at Ashley’s office. 

Lyle asked, “What happened to Ms. Hoven this time? I just took care of what was happening online.” 

Then, Elias told them what he saw earlier. Then, he scanned the room. “Judging by how the room looked in the photo, it seemed to be taken in this club.” 

Lyle narrowed his eyes and looked at William, “Was it that incident, William? I’ve never leaked the footage. I heard that you had erased it completely.”
