Hanna and Claudia were walking downstairs. The sun was shining in the breeze. The scenery is delightful.

When someone passed by, Hanna held Claudia's arm tightly and carefully guarded her, for fear of her being injured.

“You are now in a special phase, so be careful!” Hanna reminded her.

Claudia nodded with a smile.

After getting along with Hanna, she felt that she was a nice lady, generous, intelligent, and very attractive.

They sat on the benches to enjoy the fine weather. Hanna was a little thirsty, so Claudia bought two drinks from the vendor nearby.

Claudia had an appointment in the afternoon, so she went back to her room.

Soon, the alarms on the hallway rang abruptly, disrupting Claudia's thoughts.

She put down the book in her hand and heard the pager saying, “Code blue, cardiac arrest in Ward 503. Cardiac surgery...”

Ward 503, that was Hanna's ward?

Claudia got panic.

After a while, the door of her room was kicked open from the outside, and the noise shook Claudia.

With a scaring face, Ben strode to Claudia and violently pulled her up. Then he dragged her out.

He ignored her painful expression and gripped her wrist angrily and forcefully. His fury was like blazing flames that were about to devour Claudia.

Claudia was dragged to the next ward, and Hanna had just been rescued. She was lying in bed weakly with an extremely pale face.

Ben picked up a half-bottle of drink on the table and threw it to Claudia. Then he shouted, “Is this from you? Why didn't you ask her before you have it to her? She’s allergic to dairy products!”

Claudia was stunned and tried to think straight.

Hanna lay in bed, struggling to speak with her weak voice, “Ben, don't blame her. I forgot to tell her. She didn't mean to...”

Her voice was faint, and she looked at him anxiously.

Ben became even angrier, and he asked again, “Claudia, did you do that on purpose? Why don't you ask first!”

Claudia frowned, and she didn't think that Hanna would be allergic to dairy products...

Claudia's face was pale, and she tried her best to ignore the pain on her wrist. She tried to look calm.

“You are so over the line!”

He withdrew his hand abruptly. Claudia fell on the ground, but she had held on to the wall so that she didn’t fall that hard. The ache in her heart almost killed her.

Hanna frowned helplessly. She struggled to support herself, “Cut her some slack, Ben, I'm all right, and it's all just a misunderstanding!”

The more she explained, the angrier Ben became. Conspiracy, that was what he hated the most!

Ben shouted at Claudia, “Get out!”

Claudia’s ear hurt because of the loud yelling.

Seeing Claudia leaving, Hanna hurriedly sat up.

She strode forward, pressed her shoulders to let her sit in bed, “Don't move, how do you feel?”

“I'm fine, it has nothing to do with Claudia. It's all my fault.” Hanna said with innocent eyes.

Ben looked at her. There was no expression on his face.

“I thought that after so many years, I might not get allergic anymore, it’s just...”

His dark brows furrowed deeply. Hanna’s lips were pale, and her face haggard. She looked extremely fragile and weak, but she was still speaking for Claudia!

Hanna felt dizzy. She found everything around so blurred as if she were in a bathhouse, so she lay down again. Before going to bed, she reminded him, “Go find Claudia later. I don't blame her!”

Ben pondered for a second and looked at her with soulful eyes.
