Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 138

Monique was holding the coffee she bought earlier, nervously walking toward the swimming pool. Her heart got faster the close she got to the swimming pool. Her blushed face was filled with shyness.

Henry was swirling the red wine in the glass by the poolside. He had a bath towel around his lower body, revealing his strong-looking chest. He squinted his eyes and he habitually pursed his sexy lips, looking stern and lofty.

He lazily leaned on the chair. His flawless, handsome face looked wild and unruly like a king.

“Ahem...” Monique coughed lightly.

Her heartbeat uncontrollably quickened.

Henry raised his eyes and took a glance at her indifferently.

She was wearing a bean-green puff sleeve top with a pair of beige, casual wide-leg pants. Her excellent figure looked more slender under the outline of the clothes. The bean-green puff sleeve top was dotted in black which made her look like the gentle and cute girl next door.

Her palm-sized face was matte and exquisite, and her eyes were clear and bright. Her lips were matte and plump, like a ripe peach exuding sweetness. Her neck was delicate and her flawless skin was covered in a hint of light red blush.

She slowly walked toward him.

Henry turned his head aside and looked at the pool below. His anger surged as he thought of her not answering his phone call in the afternoon despite him calling her several times. What was more, she was holding hands with a man by the roadside and they nearly kissed.

“Ahhh!" Monique screamed. She stepped into the water barefoot and slipped into the pool.

The coffee in her hand flew in an arch as she fell onto Henry’s midsection.

His expression looked terrible.

Luckily Monique bought the coffee in the evening and it was no longer scalding hot.
