Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 215

"Uncle Simon." Angel obediently greeted him with those big adorable eyes of hers.

Angel's pinkish face was like an apple, she had wavy hair with long eyelashes. Her voice was so sweet and pleasant to the ear as she puckered her mouth and said with a soft voice.

Simon let off a gentle smile as he tried to reach out and pat Angel on her head but she ran away from him. Simon was stunned as he withdrew his hand and said, "What a good girl, Angel."

Previously when he first heard that Monique had a daughter, he felt utterly disappointed, but after having seen how adorable and obedient Angel had been, he was sincerely happy for Monique.

"Where's daddy?" Angel tilted her head as she stared at Monique.

"Daddy is waiting for us at the entrance. We're going back after we’ve packed." Said Monique with eyes filled with bitterness.

Her speech had been meant for both Angel and Simon.

Indeed, a gleam of disappointment had been seen in Simon's gaze when he found out that Monique already had a family.

Simon stuffed a piece of paper with his contact information on it into Monique's hand. As he suppressed the disappointment within his heart, he let out a gentle smile and said, "Monique, no matter what happens, you’ll always be my best friend. Don’t hesitate to give me a call anytime you need help."

Simon then turned around and left the scene. Seeing Simon's silhouette full of disappointment had also made Monique sad.

"Simon!" Monique called out to him.

Simon gladly turned around. Monique had the sudden thought of discarding everything dear to her and to have been together with him after having seen Simon’s expression. However, she could not bear to give him any more trouble.

She felt that she had not been up to his standard.

"Thanks for everything, Simon." Monique answered gratefully.

She thought that he would have felt disappointed about the fact that she had a daughter. However, Simon continued treating her indifferently.

Simon cracked a smile, "As long as you live your life happily."
