You More Than Anything In The World novel Chapter 1208

Arissa hardly spent time away from her children.

It was only after they returned to the country that the situation changed.

She missed cuddling with her children whenever it was time for bed.

Benjamin noticed her longing expression. His lips twitched due to his jealousy.

His slender fingers pinched her nose briefly, jolting Arissa back to her senses. Arissa shot him a strange look.

“Why are you zoning out in front of me?” Benjamin spoke domineeringly.

Arissa pushed his hand away and mumbled, “I miss the children!”

Am I not allowed to miss my children?

“You will see them in the afternoon,” Benjamin comforted her immediately. His eyes were fixated on her fair face.

“If you really miss them so much, you can look at me since they look like me!”

Arissa chuckled lightly. “It's not the same!”

Look at him? It's not the same thing!

“Am I not good-looking?” Benjamin narrowed his eyes warningly.

Shaun walked in at this moment and heard Benjamin's words. He laughed. “Benjamin, can you not be so narcissistic?”

Benjamin glared at him and jutted his chin out. “I'm more handsome than you. Isn't that a fact?”

Shaun and Arissa were rendered speechless.

Arissa turned to look at Shaun. “Mr. Bailey, please ignore him and give me my drip!”

Shaun smiled and glanced at Benjamin. He hung the IV drip bag in place for Arissa.

As Shaun inserted the needle, he asked, “Mrs. Graham, what were you guys talking about just now? Why was he jealous?”

Arissa chuckled and replied, “It's not like that. I just miss my children. Then, he said I could look at him since they looked like him. I told him that it wasn't the same thing!”

Shaun knew what Benjamin was thinking and couldn't help but laugh.

Benjamin gave him a disapproving look as the latter was happily conversing with his wife. Why are they acting like I'm not right here?

“If you are done, you can head to my dad's and not be a bother here anymore!”

Benjamin tried to kick Shaun out since the latter was annoying him.

Shaun turned to look at Benjamin. When he saw Benjamin's glare, he teased, “Why are you being so possessive? I'm only chatting with Mrs. Graham!”

Benjamin was still unhappy and sneered coldly.

Only chatting with her?

Arissa smiled at Benjamin's sulking expression. Benjamin wasn't embarrassed at all.

“Get lost!” Benjamin glared at Shaun.

Shaun felt aggrieved. “All right. I'll leave! You'd better not call me today!”

Shaun took his belongings and left the ward.

“What are you doing?” Arissa was amused by his behavior.

Benjamin let out a disdainful snort in response and pinched her cheek. “Why are you smiling so happily in front of him?”

Arissa was dumbfounded, rendered speechless.

Shaun was Benjamin's good friend. Moreover, they were only joking since Arissa and Shaun had also gotten quite familiar with each other.

“You aren't allowed to smile in front of him in the future!” Benjamin acted domineeringly.

Arissa heaved a sigh and changed the topic. “I want to drink water!”

Benjamin glanced at her before standing up to bring a glass of water to her. He even put a straw in so it would be easier for her to drink.

Arissa felt touched and took a few sips. She said softly, “Benjamin, you can't be like this. People will make fun of you!”

Benjamin narrowed his eyes. “I don't care about others. I only care about you!”

She giggled and said seriously, “What if people say I'm difficult to get along with in the future?”

Smiling was the most effective method of communication.

“They wouldn't dare!” Benjamin replied confidently.

Arissa glanced at his nonplussed expression and smiled. “All right. You should go and work. I'll take a rest now!”

Benjamin stared at her. “I'm not going to the office today. I'm staying here.”
