"If that's what you think, you don't have to worry because I'll never work with the Crawfords," Pearl said calmly. "Cerubleu has always stayed out of conflicts. We won't get involved in this matter."

Luther shook his head. "No, you will get involved because of your love-struck best friend. If she decides to support James, you'll end up supporting James's side too."
