Chapter 349
“What feast?” Simon was baffled.

Victor and Hunter were so petty with their food. How could there be a feast with them around?
He had been staying at the Smith residence for days and hadn’t had a decent meal since!
His thought almost slipped out of his mouth. But instead, be asked Hunter, “What feast? Who’s cooking?”
“Ms. Torrey said she’s cooking a feast to thank you,” Hunter replied.
“Thank me? For what?” Simon was even more confused.
“For the ointment.” Hunter shrugged.
Simon’s confusion grew at Hunter’s answer. “Shouldn’t she be thanking Victor instead? Why me? He’s the one who paid for it.”
The development of that ointment had cost a hefty fee, and Victor was the one who footed the bill.
Despite being notoriously stingy, and known for cutting comers on food, clothes, and everyday expenses, Victor had no problem splurging on other things
He invested a million dollars at the research lab when he commissioned a special ointment for Ariana. The researchers were over the moon!
“No need to question Mr. Smith’s actions, Dr. Finch. Just accept the gratitude.” Hunter shook his head.
“So, he’s giving away his credit? What a saint!” Simon almost gave Victor a round of applause.
But when he walked into the kitchen and saw Ariana scrolling through her phone, he approached and asked, “Ms. Torrey, what are you doing?”
“Ordering takeout.” Ariana hummed.
“Takeout?” Simon was shocked.
“I checked, and there’s no market nearby. I can only order ingredients from the supermarket and cook them myself.” Ariana pouted.
Simon’s face fell. “Ms. Torrey, do you even know this house’s address?”
“No. It’s strange. My GPS isn’t working.” Ariana sighed.
“That’s because this is the Smith residence… Of course, it wouldn’t work.” Simon groaned.
Victor had too many enemies who wanted him dead. So, every place he lived had signal jammers installed. Though GPS didn’t work, at least the Internet was still accessible.
“How about this? Tell me what ingredients you need, and I buy them. It’s not far anyway,” Simon offered.
“Sure!” Ariana didn’t hold back and immediately sent Simon the list she had compiled. “I don’t know what you like to eat, Dr. Finch. And I’m not sure if this is enough. I can add more if it’s not.”
Simon’s eyes lit up at the list. It had been so long since he had seen such a delicious meal!
“It’s more than enough!” He exclaimed excitedly, afraid Ariana might change her mind.
Ariana said, “I know you’re a foreigner, Dr. Finch. I originally wanted to make some foreign dishes, but…”
