Harriette’s POV. 

After I told Alpha Darius all that happened, he didn’t say a word. He sat there, his head bowed down. I was waiting for the judgment, the murderous look, and whatever horrible reaction that was supposed to follow but never came. 

“Please say something,” 

I begged. I couldn’t bear the way he went so dead silent. If Luna Angela had been here, she might have had something to say. 

When Alpha Darius finally looked up, I almost died. 

He’d been crying. His jaws were so clenched I could visibly see them but the tears were what concerned me the most. He was probably angry at me. Who wouldn’t? There was no way he could look at him the same.

I growled as I charged towards him. I stopped myself before I could do anything to hurt him or anyone else.
