But I froze!
Before I was released, Master did present me with a diary, but I was not sure if it was the one Sienna was talking about.
What was more, Master had instructed me never to show this diary to anyone but myself, not even my own father!
“No, I've never seen any diaries.”
Taking a deep drag on my cigarette, I said with conviction.
Although Sienna was introduced by Master, and although we had, between each other, established absolute trust, I could not tell her!
She nodded slightly, with her red lips pursing her glass as she said
“I hope you don't misunderstand, even if you had the diary, I wouldn't read it, and I certainly don't support your involvement with Master's business.”
“And what did the Master used to do? What is his true identity?”
That was the answer I'd always wanted to know.
“Don't ask what you shouldn't ask, and you should stay out of Master's business!”
She frowned slightly and looked at me in a reprimanding manner.
“He has other wishes to give us to fulfill.”
“What's it?”
I was instantly enthused, and I would do it if I could help Master.
But Sienna's face, however, reddened slightly as her gaze turned to the window and said.
“I'll let you know when you've met the requirements.”
I asked anxiously.
“What's requirements?”
Sienna even dodged and said.
“Meet my requirements.”
“What do you want from me?”
I was confused.
“Cut the crap. I will keep eyes on you anyway.”
Flushing, she swallowed the wine.
What an inexplicable woman, but I understood that Master had an enemy, and that person was very powerful!
This was the proof that Master was imprisoned for a reason.
Later, while eating, my phone rang and it was Clara calling.
I didn't know why she called. After all, her troubles had been solved and her prince had appeared.
But out of courtesy, I picked up.
Yes?
“Yes?
Hurry home for dinner, I have cooked a lot of good food.”
Clara said with a big smile.
“Clara, I... I've already eaten, if there's nothing else ......”
At least at that time, I was reluctant to see her again, caught in the middle of her and Marcel's dabbling.
“You have eaten? So where are you? I'm coming to get you.”
As she spoke, I seemed to hear as she headed for the door.
“No, I...I have more important things to do.”
Pinching the phone, I did want to see her, but I could not go back, because she didn't like me.
But, she went downstairs and said.
“No matter what the errand is, you have to go home. Where would you sleep at night? Come back quickly and don't be childish.”
I pursed my lips and frowned nervously before finally giving the address of the clubhouse.
Once some people came into your life, it would be hard to let go ......
And Clara was my weakness.
“She's the girl you like?”
Sienna put down her glass and asked with interest.
