Chapter 801 Sage‘s heart trembled. Her emotions and body have been a mess ever since Jace appeared. She was like a robot who was losing power for six months and was suddenly recharged. Many broken functions had to be restored, which meant processing these complicated feelings. 

Both of them took a long time to finish the meal. 

Sage had not eaten properly for the past six months. After many irregular meals, her appetite shrunk. She quickly felt full after eating a little. 

However, she ate quite a lot that night. 

Meanwhile, Jace kept eating. 

Sage thought he should have eaten his fill by then, but he would not stop eating. He ate as if he had been starving for years. He finished all the food to the last bit. 

He cleaned all the plates on the table. 

After the last bite, he wiped his mouth and burped. 

Sage looked up at him. 

Jace flushed in embarrassment. “Sorry. I couldn‘t help it. This is the best meal I‘ve had in six months.” 

Sage could not help but smile. 

When the house telephone rang, Zamora went over and answered the call. After a brief conversation, she came over and informed Sage that Nigel had called. Sage went over and answered the call. She greeted him, “Nigel.” Nigel‘s low voice came from the other end of the call. “Why can‘t I reach your phone? Your number is unreachable!” 

“It broke. I‘ll take out the card and put it into the new phone soon.” 

When Hunter picked up the broken old phone, he brought her a new phone too. Sage then remembered that she had broken another phone in the office, which was Hunter‘s. 

She should reimburse him for it later. 

After setting up her new phone, Nigel video called her. As soon as the call connected, Nigel poked his head in the video and rambled non–stop. 

“I heard from Luther that Jace rose from the dead. Is he serious? Show me!” Sage was helpless. She knew Luther had a big mouth. Whatever he knew, the other brothers would know. 

“You‘re the one who rose from the dead. Control yourself.” 

Sage turned the camera to Jace after he nodded and agreed to show himself. Jace smiled at the camera and greeted Nigel, “Hi, Dr. Nigel.” “Ahhhhhhh...What the heck! Sean! Come over! He rose from the dead!” 

The camera on Nigel‘s side shook like an earthquake. Sage was speechless. 

A moment later, Sean appeared on the video call. He seemed to have covered Nigel‘s mouth. * Control yourself. Stop screaming.” Then, Sean turned to the camera and said, “Sorry. This is embarrassing. Well, congratulations on surviving the disaster, Mister Jace.” 

Jace said, “Thank you.”
