Chapter 815 Roy frowned and looked at Sage with a distressed look. Sage‘s eyes widened in shock. “You‘re poor? Duncan, you‘re the fourth–generation descendant of Mostal. You have a large portion of shares and get a few tens of millions in dividends yearly. Is the money all gone?” “I didn‘t know.” Roy looked dumbfounded. “I kept my money with Ross. I don‘t use much money.”
When Sage heard that, she sighed weakly.
Roy had spent most of his life studying medicine. He was brilliant in medicine, but he was ignorant of the world. This was not a bad thing. Perhaps it was his purity and simplicity that moved Freya, who had been hurt by the hardships in her life.
“That won‘t be a problem. You just have to tell Ross to hand over your accounts to Aunt Freya for safekeeping,” Sage suggested. Roy nodded. “That‘s great. I‘ll talk to Ross later.”
They were chatting when Sage‘s phone rang. It was Yoel who called. She had no need to ask him to know why he called. Yoel got his news fast, Sage answered the call and greeted, “Hello.”
“Sage! Is Jace alive? Is that true?
Yoel‘s loud voice came from the other end of the call. It was so loud and made Sage‘s head buzz. She moved the phone away and answered, “Yeah. Who told you?”
Not many knew about this news. Sage wrinkled her brows slightly. “Did Melody tell you?”
“No. She‘s not even talking to me right now. She‘s still ignoring me. Why would she tell me that?” Yoel sounded depressed. “I came to Mostal to pick up my dad and heard it from the students here. D*mn! You guys are so terrible! Why didn‘t you tell me right away?” Yoel sounded like he was driving. He was cursing and banging the steering wheel in anger.
“Well, don‘t you know now?”
Sage was about to tell him, but she did not expect Yoel to call so soon.
“I‘m on my way now! Tell Jace to wait for me right there! I‘ll beat him up if he‘s not there when I arrive until he becomes a real Old Dried Fish!”
Yoel hung up the phone after saying some harsh words. Sage took his words as a bluff and calmly put away the phone. However, the phone rang again.
This time, it was Luther.
Sage answered. Before she could speak, Luther gasped, “Sage, where are you now?”
“I‘m in the Yuriel family‘s old residence. What‘s wrong?”
Luther asked, “Are you standing or sitting now?”
“I‘m standing.” Sage was puzzled.
